Hello everyone! Back again and welcome to my blog! So here i will explain about caption text! 

What is a caption text?

Caption text is brief description, heading, or title that identifier or introduces a document, graphic, photograph, or table.

Social function

Describe, comment on pictures, photos, tables, graphs and charts

Text structure

Consist of :

The title, actions/events/activities

The lead, people/things involved

Section Heading, scope of the situation

Linguistic elements

Noun phrases for things, people, animals, locations, etc. Which is the focus, with or without a, the, this, those, my, their, etc.

Participle phrases

Speech, word stress, intonation, spelling, punctuation and handwriting

Topics

Activities, events, data, actual facts from newspapers that can foster the behavior contained dai KI

Language Features

Exclamation

Question

Adjective Phrase

Personal Phrase

Simple Present Tense

 

Example 

Borobudur template is 9th century Mahayana Budhdhist Monumen near Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia. The Monumen is compirises six square platforms topped by three circular platforms, and is decorated with 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha statues. A main dome, located at the center of the top platform is surrounded by 72 Buddha.

Social function 

BTS World Tour: Love Yourself or better known as Love Yourself World Tour is the third worldwide concert tour organized by South Korean band BTS to promote their Love Yourself series, namely Love Yourself: Her, Love Yourself: Tear, and compilation albums. Their Love Yourself: Answer Tour kicked off on August 25, 2018 in South Korea and visited 13 other countries so far, including Japan, USA, Canada, UK, France, Netherlands, Germany, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Saudi Arabia. The stadium tour was later extended, under the name BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself, added on February 9, 2019 and started in Pasadena, California on May 4, 2019. As seen in the photo, the concert venue was quite full.  The atmosphere of the concert was very lively, full of happiness and tears.

: Boygroup from Korea, BTS is conducting a Love Yourself concert tour in several countries in the world such as South Korea, Thailand, Canada, England, Hong Kong, Germany, and other countries.

The lead, people/things involved

: The tour starts on August 25, 2018 - April 7, 2019. Of course it makes BTS fans or also known as ARMY feel happy, they buy tickets for the concert as quickly as possible so they don't run out

Section Heading, scope of the situation

: As seen in the photo, the concert venue was quite full.  The atmosphere of the concert was very lively, full of happiness and tears.

Linguistic elements

The reason for my caption is because I really like BTS music, they are talented idols and deserve appreciation.
